- StageAbility will instigate appropriate police checks and obtain references on all
those connected with the tutoring and administration of a StageAbility School and
its associated activities.
- In accordance with current local and national guidelines, all young persons, including
infants of pre school age, those in full time education and under the age of 16 years
old as well as those in full time compulsory education and over the age of 16 years
old and including those considered vulnerable adults shall be encompassed and observed
under the umbrella of this policy.
- StageAbility will keep itself up to date with all changes in legislation as well
as the current local interpretations of law and will update this policy in accordance
with those changes when they occur.
- All students of the school are considered equal and will be treated as such.
- No student will be allowed to leave the premises of any class or activity being attended
by them without the supervision of a StageAbility Representative. All students must
be collected by the Parent, Legal Guardian or Known Representative.
- In the event of the late arrival of the Parent, Legal Guardian or Known Representative,
the Tutor and or the School Administrator will remain with the Student until collected.
- During the day to day activities of the school, StageAbility will, for prosperity,
marketing, advertising and record keeping purposes have occasion to store digital
photographs taken during classes and/or stage performances. These photographs will
be used only in the publication of printed and online marketing materials and promotional
items pertaining to the activities of the school. The copyright of all photographs
shall be retained by StageAbility but before any publication takes place, approval
will be sought from the Students Parent, Legal Guardian or Known Representative.
- All StageAbility TUTORS and ADMINISTRATORS possess DBS disclosures; copies of which
are obtained and held by StageAbility Principals.
- StageAbility operate a “No Tolerance” rule regarding physical and/or verbal abuse.
In any event, immediate dismissal is implemented.
- Any medical conditions must be made known to StageAbility so that our representatives
are aware of them. If a student administers their own regular medication; detailed
information should be provided to StageAbility for our records.
