Let’s break this task down:

First of all, let’s think about how to mime opening a box.
You need to really imagine your box.  Is it big or small?  Heavy or light?  How can you show us that in the video?  Think about how you are going to open the box.  Is it gift-wrapped?  Do you have to open it with scissors?  Or perhaps there are flaps you need to open.

Next, think about how you are feeling when you open the box.  Are you excited or nervous or are you feeling something else?  How can you show that on your face or by the way you move?

Next, you need to decide what is going to be in the box.  How are you going to show us what the object is?  Can you throw it or stroke it or eat it?  Try to be really clear so that we can guess the object.

And finally, how do you feel about the object.  Do you love it or hate it?  Are you pleased or disappointed?  Remember to show us on your face and strictly no talking!

Don’t worry, if you start recording and it all goes wrong, you can re-set it.

We can’t wait to see what happens when you open the box!
